Job summary

GoTab is seeking a Deployment Tech to manage onboarding and deployment for customer sites nationwide. You will assemble hardware and software components, configure POS hardware, routers, printers, and Android devices to meet deployment plans.

Expect remote installation support with on-site visits across the US and Canada, and travel as needed. Hospitality background is highly valued and you’ll collaborate with Success, Product, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of IP networking (wired/wireless).
• Comfort with Linux command line and remote access tools.
• Experience with IoT or low-power devices is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS hardware and Android devices.
• Ability to diagnose issues and guide customers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and post-launch support for hospitality customers.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware config, and device performance.
• Provide real-time remote assistance via phone, video, chat, email.
• Escalate complex issues with detailed diagnostics to engineering.
• Document deployment recommendations and best practices.
