Job summary

Base Power Company in Texas seeks a Deployment Engineer to architect rapid hardware deployments across the state and ensure a positive customer experience with increased uptime of battery systems.

You will design data collection systems, write SQL queries, and build internal tools to automate workflows, monitor performance, and enable data-driven decisions—collaborating across engineering, operations, and field teams to scale deployment and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in data analysis, process engineering, or internal tools development.
• Comfortable with SQL or similar languages; write complex queries to extract data.
• Data-driven mindset; translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience building scalable, repeatable, documented processes.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript) for tooling.
• Experience with BI or data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Metabase).

Responsibilities

• Audit deployment-related data across systems to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Design and implement scalable deployment processes; improve data collection and QA workflows.
• Build internal tools and dashboards to automate workflows and provide real-time visibility.
• Analyze deployment data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering/ops to translate needs into data models and tools.
• Set up data collection systems to track hardware deployment and performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for tools, data models, and processes.
