Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a field-focused technician to provide technical support to customers and rapidly diagnose issues with hardware, software, or training implementations.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel internationally, including deployment rotations. A US Secret clearance is required; an active clearance is preferred, with SNC handling clearance processing if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals.
• Progressive troubleshooting experience and understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
• Ability to travel outside the continental US for extended periods.
• Passport and ability to obtain an international visa; pass pre-deployment medical.
• Willing to deploy OCONUS on a 90-day rotation; active Secret US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to SNC customers for quick problem assessment and corrections.
• Document all customer interactions and implement SNC-approved changes to hardware/software/training.
• Maintain punctuality and comply with scheduled hours.
• Travel to remote locations worldwide on short notice; perform maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Follow shift lead supervisor guidance for daily tasks and priorities.
• Frequent travel outside CONUS; obtain passport/visa as needed; pass pre-deployment medical.
