Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corp in Centennial, CO is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Manager I (Deploy Only) to oversee maintenance planning and airworthiness. You will lead teams, schedule tasks, and ensure regulatory compliance for the fleet.

Key requirements include a related bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), 7+ years in aviation, FAA A&P certification, and willingness to deploy internationally on extended rotations. A US government security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred for advanced roles.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
• 7+ years of aviation experience; DoD/DoC deployment experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule aircraft maintenance and repair activities.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure safety standards.
• Conduct foreign object inspections and regulatory compliance checks.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and optimize maintenance costs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and liaise with departments.
