Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Manager of Maintenance Support to lead maintenance operations, strengthen customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities. You will collaborate with senior leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and workforce development while sustaining a robust pipeline of work.

The role requires extensive experience in aerospace maintenance, FAA Part 145, and a strong ability to interpret technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 9+ years of operations management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience can substitute for the degree.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Experience with FAA Part 145 Repair Station regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers to support satisfaction, retention, and opportunities.
• Develop relationships with prospective customers locally and in other markets that align with the company's capabilities.
• Continuously identify additional business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify and evaluate government contracting opportunities through SAM.gov and other applicable platforms.
• Coordinate with leadership to maintain a consistent pipeline of work and efficient hangar capacity utilization.
• Support customer visits, facility tours, capability presentations, proposals, and other business-development activities.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on business-development activity and pipeline status.
