Education typically acquired through completion of high school.
One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 7-level in state service.
One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 8-level in state service.
OR
One year of experience as a technician or paraprofessional equivalent to the entry level in state service.
One year of experience as a supervisor of administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
OR
One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
OR
Two years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate level in state service.
Completion of two years of college (60 semester or 90 term credits) may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Possession of a bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Possession of a bachelor’s degree and one year of job-related experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
To perform the duties and responsibilities of this position, all work must be performed in Michigan. If you currently reside outside of the State of Michigan, you must commute to Michigan to perform the responsibilities and duties of this position at your official work location.

If you are a State of Michigan resident, this position is eligible for remote work up to five days per week. Please note that occasional onsite work will be required. Additionally, the selected candidate must have a secure, safe and appropriate designated workspace that allows privacy and prevents distractions while performing the duties of this position, as well as secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Remote Work approval is at the discretion of the appointing authority and is subject to change and can be ended at any time for any reason. Please note that remote work is not available if you reside outside of the State of Michigan.
