Job Overview

This position is for a manager in a franchise‑owned restaurant. Employees are hired and managed by the franchisee, which is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service.
• Manage assigned systems such as training, food safety, and inventory when supervising a department.
• Guest Service Department Manager: oversee crew and managers to deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff, and maintain the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas.
• Kitchen Department Manager: ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety standards, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items.
• People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train them adequately, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, set a positive tone for new employees, and motivate staff throughout their tenure.
