Job summary

DH Pace Company is seeking a Department Manager in Tempe, AZ to direct the Commercial install department and drive safety-conscious, positive employee relations through leadership, communication, coaching, training and development.

You will oversee daily operations, pursue process improvements, and maintain high service quality with customers while guiding staff performance and growth for future advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in department management or field service operations.
• Proven leadership and staff development skills.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the entry door service department.
• Promote and participate in process improvements, looking for opportunities to do things more effectively and efficiently.
• Communicate regularly with members of management to review business results, share observations, and provide feedback.
• Communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality of service has been provided.
• Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews.
• Manage, provide leadership for, and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development for continued success and/or for future advancement.

The department manager will direct business operations of the Commercial install department with the objective to create, foster, and maintain safety-conscious, positive employee relations using a lead by example approach, effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
