Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Department Manager to join the Store Management Team in Texas. You will supervise store associates, coach on sales techniques, ensure policy compliance, and help drive department and store sales goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.

You will coordinate with store leadership, handle scheduling and timecard accuracy, resolve customer issues, and lead training to deliver Best of the WEST customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell product and manage a retail department.
• Ability to manage store shifts effectively.
• Proven ability to drive results and develop talent.
• Strong customer service and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender's Culture and drive Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Lead and train store associates on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Open and close store as directed and supervise daily activities.
• Address customer complaints and process returns/exchanges.
• Monitor department performance and contribute to sales and payroll goals.
• Act as Manager on Duty as assigned and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented store and department.
• Provide loss prevention and safety oversight.
