Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to oversee a key area of our store, ensuring strong merchandising, inventory control, and customer service. You will manage scanning outs, price changes, planogram sets, and safety standards while supporting front-end operations.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of retail experience, excellent communication, and a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department displays are attractive and compliant with guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory through regular stock counts and scanning outs.
• Oversee recovery and keep the department neat and organized.
• Execute price changes and signage updates in coordination with teams.
• Implement playbook features and planogram sets per company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the department.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with inquiries.
• Support front-end operations with transactions or loadouts as needed.
• Operate retail equipment and participate in cross-training.
