Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to ensure efficient operations of the assigned department. You will oversee scanning outs, inventory, price changes, planogram sets, and maintaining high display standards.

Responsibilities include customer service, front-end support, and using retail equipment. This role requires at least 2 years in retail, strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are expected.

• At least 2 years of retail experience with knowledge of specific department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the indoor merchandising guide to maintain consistent department and signing standards and appealing displays that are consistent with company expectations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, scanning outs, reconciling discrepancies, and replenishing department inventory.
• Oversee the recovery process to keep the department neat, organized, and visually appealing, enhancing the shopping experience.
• Coordinate and execute price changes accurately and efficiently, updating pricing labels and signage as required.
• Manage the implementations of playbook features and planogram sets per company guidelines to maximize sales potential.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the department, enforcing sanitation and safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service using the engagement model to assist customers with inquiries and locate products.
• Provide support at the front end by processing transactions or loadouts as required.
• Work with general office equipment and retail devices; operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders as needed.
