Shoe Station in Baton Rouge is seeking a Store Lead to oversee an area of the store and grow into a leadership role. This position is ideal for someone ready to take on more responsibility and advance in retail leadership.

You will lead department performance, greet customers, train associates, handle transactions, organize merchandise, and promote current sales while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative and lead by example.
• Minimum 1 year in retail, sales, or cash handling.
• Able to learn and operate the POS system.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsabilités

• Lead a department and support overall store standards.
• Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling.
• Handle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as needed.
• Organize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor moves.
• Promote current sales and programs.
• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team.
