Shoe Station is seeking a Store Lead to oversee an area of the store and grow into leadership responsibilities. This role emphasizes leading a department, guiding associates, and promoting sales programs.

The position requires strong communication, initiative, and at least one year of retail or cash-handling experience, with flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example.
• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling (preferred).
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department (such as Women’s, Men’s and Children’s departments) and support overall store standards
• Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude
• Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling
• Handle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as needed
• Organize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor moves
• Promote current sales and programs
• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team
