WW Clyde is seeking a Parts Purchasing Agent in the Denver, Colorado area. You will manage purchasing for vendor items and subcontracts, evaluate bids, and negotiate terms to ensure timely delivery on heavy civil construction projects.

Qualifications

• Prepare written inquiries or obtain quotes for vendor items and subcontracts.
• Receive vendor bids and evaluate them considering price, delivery date, and vendor past performance.
• Negotiate terms and issue purchase orders; handle change orders.
• Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate invoice issues with vendors and accounting; ensure QC/engineering alignment.

Responsibilities

• Visualize, fulfill, and implement WW Clyde's vision and values.
• Prepare and issue vendor quotes in line with requisitions/specifications.
• Evaluate bids to select the best bidder based on price and performance.
• Negotiate terms and place purchase orders; manage change orders.
• Expedite orders and handle third-party rental contracts when needed.
• Coordinate invoicing with vendors and site requirements; maintain documentation.
• Establish and maintain vendor contacts; meet with vendors as required.
