WW Clyde in Denver, CO seeks a Parts Purchasing Agent to manage sourcing for heavy civil projects. You will prepare inquiries, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and place orders to support project needs.

This role requires coordinating with vendors, accounting, engineering and QC; expediting orders when needed, and maintaining documentation to ensure on-time delivery. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing inquiries and quotes for vendor items.
• Ability to evaluate bids considering price, delivery, and vendor performance.
• Negotiate terms and place purchase orders; issue change orders.
• Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate invoices with vendor, accounting, and QC as needed.

Responsibilities

• Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values.
• Prepare written inquiries or obtain quotes for vendor items and subcontracts per requisitions.
• Receive vendor bids, evaluate bids for price, delivery, and past performance to determine winning bidder.
• Negotiate terms/conditions and place purchase orders; issue change orders.
• Expedite awarded purchase orders to insure timely delivery.
• Handle third party rental contracts, renewals, terminations; maintain files.
• Coordinate invoice issues with vendor and accounting; delivery with vendor and supervision; quality with Engineering and QC.
• Prepare all required documentation for each purchase order.
• Establish/maintain contact with vendors; meet with sales and vendor representatives as required.
