Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking an experienced Product Delivery Manager for the Denver area. You will own the backlog for multiple agile teams, translating strategy into actionable stories while collaborating with product management, executives, and development teams to deliver value.

In this onsite role, you will facilitate agile ceremonies, refine requirements, and manage priorities to ensure alignment with customer outcomes and business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Ownership or related consulting roles.
• Proven track record managing agile product backlogs.
• Strong ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience prioritizing work by value and risk.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management.
• Experience with AI tools to assist backlog and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for one or more agile teams.
• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to understand vision and priorities.
• Translate strategy into epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Write high-quality backlog items ready for development.
• Prioritize backlog items based on value, impact, and risk.
• Represent customer needs to delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and aid team planning and execution.
• Clarify requirements and reduce ambiguity to improve flow.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master to support team effectiveness.
• Monitor progress and adjust backlog sequencing as needed.
• Make trade-off decisions within product strategy.
• Evaluate completed work against acceptance criteria.
• Identify and resolve risks and dependencies with stakeholders.
