Job summary

Focused is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to help design and operate scalable platform infrastructure in a Denver-based team. You will implement IaC with Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation, manage Kubernetes clusters, and build CI/CD pipelines with strong observability.

You will collaborate across teams to set SLOs/SLAs, tackle reliability, and optimize cloud-native tooling across AWS, GCP, and Azure, ensuring secure, scalable, and measurable systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Platform Engineering or DevOps experience
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, CDK)
• Strong experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Hands-on with AWS, GCP, and Azure observability services
• Experience with Docker/Podman and container registries
• Knowledge of networking, security, load balancing, distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Augment existing infrastructure with integrated observability solutions
• Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters with monitoring and logging
• Build CI/CD pipelines with embedded observability and automated testing
• Establish SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and incident response processes
• Deploy and manage observability across multiple cloud providers
• Develop security, compliance, and governance for telemetry data
