Job summary

Menlo Security is seeking a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate the company’s cloud-native infrastructure across GCP and AWS. You’ll build reliable, secure platforms, automate with Terraform and GitOps workflows, and drive multi-region resilience.

You’ll collaborate with Global SRE, Security and Product teams, leverage tooling like Spacelift, Helm, Grafana and OTel, and contribute to incident readiness, observability, and automated recovery at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Kubernetes expertise including cluster administration, RBAC, networking, and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Clear understanding of how to use LLM-based code-assist tools to effectively build and troubleshoot software.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services including GKE, VPC, DNS, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, IAM, and Workload Identity.
• Understanding of network topologies, protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, UDP, TLS), and enterprise connectivity solutions.
• Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP and AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform modules and Spacelift.
• Develop observability solutions with Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir, and OpenTelemetry collectors.
• Manage certificates, DNS automation, ingress controllers, and service mesh networking.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Security teams on capacity planning and disaster recovery.
