Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC is seeking an Area Maintenance Supervisor to oversee seven multifamily affordable housing communities in the Denver area. You will mentor on-site teams, guide complex repairs, and ensure safety and efficiency across properties.

You will coordinate vendors, manage make-readies and preventative maintenance, and track budgets and work orders using property management systems. This role requires EPA certification and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Experience managing on-site maintenance staff and performing hands-on guidance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and building repairs.
• Experience coordinating vendors and overseeing make-readies at multiple properties.
• Familiarity with maintenance software and reporting systems; RealPage or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, and mentor on-site maintenance staff.
• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs across building systems.
• Oversee escalated service requests and ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordinate daily maintenance operations and preventative maintenance.
• Manage vendor relationships and assist with capital improvement projects.
• Monitor budgets, inventory, and work orders; maintain records.
• Support safety inspections and communicate updates to leadership.
