Job summary

Mercy Housing in Denver is seeking an Area Maintenance Specialist to support a preventative maintenance program across multiple affordable housing communities. You will partner with Property Managers to ensure maintenance standards are met, drive timely turnover, and uphold environmental guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, building trades knowledge, and at least two years in skilled maintenance, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training in building trades preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in skilled maintenance work.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Property Manager to execute the approved preventive maintenance schedule.
• Meet or exceed standard unit turnover timelines.
• Implement and maintain environmentally responsible guidelines.
• Ensure on-call maintenance and emergency response is executed when required.
• Oversee maintenance contracts for quality and cost efficiency.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
• Maintain and update the property crisis plan and respond in crises.
• Other duties as assigned.
