Job summary

Gorman & Company is seeking an Area Maintenance Supervisor to support 7 multifamily affordable housing communities in the Denver area. You will coach on-site teams, supervise repairs, and manage vendor relationships to ensure safe, efficient work across properties.

The role requires 5+ years in property maintenance, strong technical knowledge, and EPA certification. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered, with discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in property maintenance or related trade.
• Experience training and mentoring maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic repairs.
• Experience coordinating vendors and make-readies across multiple properties.
• Proficiency with property management software; RealPage preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, and mentor on-site maintenance staff to standardize performance.
• Troubleshoot and complete complex repairs across building systems.
• Oversee escalated service requests and ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordinate daily maintenance operations and make-readies.
• Manage vendor work, bids, and capital improvement projects.
• Monitor budgets, inventory, and work orders; ensure accurate records.
• Support safety inspections and communicate updates to leadership.
