Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a Part-time General Dentist to deliver the complete clinical patient experience—from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office endodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics available.

You’ll work 2-3 days per week (8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM) with either a daily guarantee or a percentage of collections up to 36%. Benefits include health insurance, dental/vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and more to support your career and well-being.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' dental records.
• Review x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
