Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our team in Hollidaysburg, PA. You will work 2-3 days per week, with shifts from 8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM, and compensation terms offering a daily or percentage-based approach up to 36% of collections.

The role covers the full clinical patient experience, with in-office specialties and a strong emphasis on preventive care and treatment planning. Competitive benefits apply for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.
