Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a Part-time General Dentist to join our team. You will oversee the full clinical patient experience from exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This role offers 2-3 days per week (8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM) with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
