Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA seeks a part-time General Dentist to join our team. 2-3 days per week, 8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections.

You will manage the full patient experience from exam to care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, creating and reviewing treatment plans, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
