Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist in Hollidaysburg, PA, offering 2-3 days per week with either 8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM shifts. This role features a daily guarantee or a 36% collection-based compensation structure, and includes access to CE opportunities and a collaborative practice environment.

The Dentist will manage the full patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide corrective and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education
