Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a General Dentist in Torrington, CT to provide full patient care from exams to treatment delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on delivering excellent patient experiences.

The position offers either part-time or full-time hours (8AM-5PM, 2-5 days/week) and compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, dental/vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and ongoing

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
