Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to manage the complete patient experience from exam to care delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Flexible 2-5 days per week with potential for up to 36% collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program is required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality and ethical standards of care.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
