Job summary

42North Dental is looking for a General Dentist in Torrington, CT. The role covers the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with hours 8 AM–5 PM, 2–5 days per week, and compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and update medical/dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
