Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam through treatment planning and care delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Part-time or full-time options are available.

Qualifications

DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
Current state dental license to practice.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
Review x-rays, monitor growth and development, and provide restorative care.
Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
