42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a Part-time or Full-time General Dentist to oversee the patient experience from exam through treatment delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. 2–5 days/week, 8AM–5PM. Compensation up to 36% of collections.

Full-time roles may include health benefits, CE opportunities, and a pathway to unlimited earning potential under a strong mentorship framework.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program is required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.

Formation

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
