Job summary
42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. You will manage the patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
We offer part-time or full-time schedules, 8 AM–5 PM, and compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance with HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Malpractice insurance.
- BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review, maintain and update patients' dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain high standard of care and ethics.
