The role requires presenting to patients, knowledge of dental insurance, and strong communication. The position offers a 4‑day work week, 8am–5pm, with full benefits for 30+ hours.

Qualifications

• Dental insurance knowledge is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Project coordination experience.
• Adhere to OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.
• Contribute to a respectful, collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to advance skills through continuing education.
• Present to work during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present treatment plans and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatments.
• Schedule patient treatment appointments and reschedule missed ones.
• Manage doctor and hygiene schedules for efficient appointment use.
• Coordinate daily patient flow with the clinical team.
• Assist patients with financial arrangements.
• Complete pre-authorization and treatment paperwork.
• Communicate with the doctor and promote teamwork.
• Check patients out and handle calls from patients.
• Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
