• Previous experience in a dental office
• Experience as a Treatment Coordinator or dental receptionist
• Knowledge of dental terminology and common procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Positive, professional, dependable demeanor
• High School Diploma and/or GED

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients
• Manage a multi-line phone system and scheduling
• Coordinate patient appointments to maintain provider schedules
• Check patients in and out with professionalism
• Present and review treatment plans and financial options
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with benefits understanding
• Collect payments and follow financial policies
• Enter and update patient demographics and insurance in Denticon
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic records
• Maintain a welcoming reception and waiting area
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to enhance patient experience
• Perform additional duties to support the practice
