Job summary

Plum Dental Group is seeking a Treatment Coordinator in Operations to deliver compassionate patient education and help patients understand and feel confident about their treatment. You’ll discuss financing options, assist with applications, and support case acceptance to drive practice production goals.

The role emphasizes strong communication, empathy, and coordination across front desk, finance, and clinical teams, with travel between locations as needed and a focus on a positive patient

Qualifications

• 1+ years in dental front office or treatment coordination.
• Ability to explain clinical concepts in lay terms.
• Comfortable discussing financial responsibilities with empathy and professionalism.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Familiarity with CareStack or similar dental practice software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review treatment plans with patients and explain recommended care in clear terms.
• Follow up with patients who are undecided or need additional information.
• Verify insurance details, explain coverage and pre-authorizations.
• Greet patients and maintain a welcoming reception area; answer inquiries.
• Input treatment plans and financial arrangements into the practice management system; coordinate schedules.
