Lane & Associates Family Dentistry/NCOSO in Durham, NC is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to enhance patient experience in our Oral Surgery + Orthodontics office. You will coordinate appointments, review treatment plans, and help patients understand financial options.

Ideal candidates have dental office experience, strong communication, and meticulous organization. This role supports a busy team focused on excellent patient care and streamlined operations.

Formación

• Previous dental office experience, especially with Oral Surgery and Orthodontics.
• Experience as Treatment Coordinator or dental receptionist is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with doctors and team members professionally.
• Positive, dependable demeanor and professional appearance.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary point of contact for patients with a warm, welcoming experience.
• Manage multi-line phone system, schedule and confirm appointments.
• Coordinate patient appointments to optimize provider schedules.
• Check patients in/out with professionalism and accuracy.
• Present and review treatment plans and financial options.
• Explain value of recommended treatment to support acceptance.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with benefits.
• Collect payments and follow established financial policies.
• Enter/update patient demographics and insurance in Denticon.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic records and a clean reception area.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure exceptional patient experience.
