Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the patient charting process, prioritizing and reviewing charts for completeness.
• Courteously answer the telephone and interact professionally with patients.
• Greet all patients with a smile and a professional, courteous attitude.
• Manage the patient schedule, working with front and back-office staff to ensure workflow.
• Verify insurance coverage for planned treatment.
• Collect payments and reconcile daily cash reports.
• Prepare patient prescriptions and submit dental claims.
• Present treatment plans after calculating co-payments and insurance benefits.
• Educate patients about their treatment.
