Job summary

PDS Health seeks a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with supported Dentists to secure patient financial commitments for recommended treatments. You will educate patients on options and help keep the Dentist’s schedule productive, ensuring a high level of patient care and a strong experience.

The role requires knowledge of financial options, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multiple offices. Travel between locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel might be required between offices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Dentists to gain patient financial commitments.
• Educate patients on treatment options and financing.
• Maintain PPE and Patient for Life experience.
• Achieve proficiency in the PDS system.
• Support scheduling and handoffs with clinicians.
• Overcome patient objections and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Assist with insurance pre-authorizations and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
