Job summary

Guardian Dentistry in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to ensure patients understand and schedule necessary treatment. You will coordinate communications between doctors and patients, assist with insurance questions, and prepare financial treatment plans.

The role includes presenting treatment options and obtaining patient agreement, while also supporting front office duties as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills and dental software knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years of dental office experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of dental software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for making sure patients understand and schedule for necessary treatment.
• Coordinate communications between doctors and patients; assist with patient inquiries including insurance questions.
• Organize and present patient treatment plans with financial obligations and obtain patient agreement.
• Assist with general front office duties as needed.
• Prepare in advance treatment consent forms (surgical, endodontic, general).
• Record chart entries from calls or in-person conversations and manage doctor charts for treatment plans and conferences.
• Prepare financial treatment plans and present options to patients at the end of appointments.
• Assist with consultations and be in the room with doctor and patient as needed.
• Make all financial arrangements with the patient after the doctor leaves the consultation room.
