Dental Health Center of Northern Virginia is seeking a front office coordinator to guide patients through scheduling and understanding treatment plans. The role includes coordinating with doctors, handling insurance questions, and organizing financial arrangements for treatment.

You will support daily office operations, maintain patient communication, and assist with front desk tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic functioning and strong patient service.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma.
• Legible handwriting for communications.
• Knowledge of Dental Software a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Dental office experience required.
• Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members and community.
• Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff.
• Customer service or patient relations experience.

Aufgaben

• Primarily responsible for ensuring patients understand and schedule for necessary treatment.
• Coordinate communications between doctors and patients, helping to build and maintain a doctor/hygiene schedule.
• Assist with patient inquiries, including insurance questions, organize and present patient treatment plans with financial obligations and obtain patient agreement.
• May assist with general front office duties.
• Conduct patient consultations and assist with financial arrangements after doctor leaves the consultation room.
• Notify patients when pre-estimates come back and schedule appointments after financial arrangements are made.
