Job summary

Commonwealth Dentistry is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to advocate for patients, create treatment plans, and coordinate financial resources and insurance needs. The role supports greeting patients, scheduling, answering phones, and other office duties with a positive demeanor.

Essential requirements include prior Front Office dental experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with dental treatment plans and insurance processes.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office Dental experience required.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Explain treatment plans and address patient questions.
• Assist patients in prioritizing treatment and scheduling & payment plans.
• Conduct financial consultations with new and existing patients.
• Explain and manage payment options and insurance requirements.
• Bill and post payments and estimate claims with insurance providers.
• Track accounts receivable and follow up on claims.
• Educate patients on outside financing options when applicable.
• Introduce new patients to the practice and outline health history and examinations.
• Conduct treatment consultations for new and existing patients.
