Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time dental role at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinic in Milwaukee, WI. You will provide exams, preventive and restorative care, and extractions within your scope, while educating students, families, and staff to improve access to dental services.

You will collaborate with dentists and hygienists to maintain clinic flow and ensure high-quality care. You will also accurately document all procedures in the EHR and meet licensure requirements including BLS CPR,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an associate/technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job experience.
• BLS CPR certification obtained prior to hire date.
• DSPS credentials for dental anesthesiology and dentistry obtained prior to hire date.
• Heart Saver AED certification obtained prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral health care including exams, preventive, restorative, and extraction services within scope of practice.
• Deliver oral health education to students, families, and staff to support expanded access.
• Partner with dentists, hygienists, and staff to ensure efficient clinic flow and patient care.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Partner with dentists, hygienists, and support staff to ensure efficient clinic flow and patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider specializing in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Dental Anesthesiologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Dentist credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Heart Saver AED obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
