Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive profitable growth in dental accounts within a defined US territory. You will cultivate relationships with dental offices, present solutions, and coordinate product demonstrations, aiming to become a trusted practice partner for doctors and staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience, strong customer service and negotiation skills, plus dental industry familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience or equivalent.
• Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth by developing, maintaining, and advancing accounts.
• Regularly contact dental offices within a defined territory.
• Develop a "practice partner" mentality with doctors and staff.
• Analyze business needs and discuss equipment and technology solution benefits and features.
• Coordinate product demonstrations.
• Explain return on investment and tax advantages.
• Discuss emerging trends in the dental industry.
• Maintain knowledge of Patterson products and services, competitive intelligence, and industry information.
• Maintain accurate records for prospects, customer orders, sales records, and other financial activity.
• Perform other duties related to the Territory Sales Representative position.
