Job summary

Zufall Health Center Inc. in New Jersey is recruiting a Sterilization Technician under the direct supervision of the SVP of Dental Services to support the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation, including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization and storage.

The role requires adherence to infection control guidelines, QA monitoring, and collaboration with dental and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited course in central sterilization.
• Knowledge of infection control guidelines and sterilization standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination, disinfection and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Operates and maintains sterilization equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensures sterility of reusable instruments following AAMI and related standards.
• Supports QA and monitoring activities for disinfection and sterilization processes.
• Travels regularly to Zufall sites as required.
