Job summary

Eastern Dental is hiring a part-time Dental Receptionist in Laurel Springs, NJ. You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and manage front desk tasks. Knowledge of insurance plans is preferred and mileage reimbursement is offered.

The role supports a team dedicated to high-quality patient care in a busy dental office. Responsibilities include registering patients, posting charges, maintaining a welcoming waiting area, and following up on no-shows.

Qualifications

• Experience answering the telephone in a professional environment.
• Experience in the Dental or Healthcare Industry is required.
• Proven customer service skills and strong communication.
• Knowledge of insurance plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients as they arrive and depart.
• Answer and screen phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments.
• Manage front desk voicemail and patient communications.
• Follow up on no-shows and cancellations; register patients from sign‑in sheets.
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts; maintain waiting area.
• Perform other tasks as necessary to keep the front desk running smoothly.
