Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator in Westminster, CO to partner with dentists, help patients choose treatment options, and secure financial commitments. You’ll guide patients through insurance pre-authorizations and budget-based decisions while supporting a Perfect Patient Experience.

The role emphasizes thorough knowledge of financial options, strong communication, and collaboration with clinicians to keep schedules productive and patient care at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel may be required between offices.
• Preferred: coursework in dentistry, insurance, or business.

Responsibilities

• Models company culture, values, standards, and best practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
• Gain a financial commitment from the patient to start recommended dentistry.
• Achieve proficiency in the PDS system to assist patients in decision-making.
• Execute the HC Handoff with clinicians on each exam patient.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert on available financial options for patient budgeting.
• Overcome common patient objections to starting treatment.
• Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations for patients.
• Ensure the office exemplifies the Comprehensive Care Model and makes external referrals.
• Participate in daily huddles and monthly team meetings.
• Understand how the role impacts metrics and business imperatives.
• Protect the PDS Brand and professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Know the Mouth Body Connection to support clinical excellence.
• Maintain professional appearance per company policies.
