Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a dental office setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and navigating computer programs.
• High attention to detail with problem solving and multitasking.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Experience with Denticon Software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a calm, welcoming environment.
• Answer phones with excellent verbal skills and convey the practice's philosophy.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information and eligibility.
• Review and present treatment plans, timelines, and financial arrangements.
• Schedule appointments per ideal schedule templates.
• Maintain a productive schedule and fill late cancellations with quick-call patients.
• Checkout patients, collect payments, and schedule next appointments.
• Maintain computer records to a high standard.
• Coordinate with referring offices and ensure referrals are followed up.
• Assist in maintaining the reception area and front office in a neat, orderly, and welcoming condition.
