Smiles of Longview is seeking a friendly, organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental team in Longview, WA. You will welcome patients, schedule, present treatment plans, and help patients understand financial options while keeping the front office running smoothly.

This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, a 401(k) match, and paid time off. Prior dental front office experience and knowledge of Open Dental are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous dental front office experience is required.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
• Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in/check out patients with a warm, professional approach.
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions and scheduling.
• Present treatment plans and help patients understand their recommended care.
• Discuss financial arrangements and payment options with patients.
• Support daily front-office operations and maintain an organized, welcoming environment.
• Complete end-of-day administrative and office duties.
• Collaborate with the practice team to provide an excellent overall patient experience.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming patient experience while keeping the front office running smoothly and efficiently.

As an Office Coordinator, you'll be an important part of the patient journey—from the moment patients walk through the door to helping them understand their treatment and financial options.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and check in/check out patients with a warm, professional approach
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and scheduling
• Present treatment plans and help patients understand their recommended care
• Discuss financial arrangements and payment options with patients
• Support daily front-office operations and maintain an organized, welcoming environment
• Complete end-of-day administrative and office duties
• Collaborate with the practice team to provide an excellent overall patient experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous dental front office experience is required
• Working knowledge of common dental terminology and procedures
• Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy practice
• Professional, friendly, and team-oriented approach

Schedule

• Monday: 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM-1:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits

$20-$28/hour, based on experience
