Job summary

Nut Tree Smiles Dentistry is hiring a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with dentists, secure financing for treatments, and keep schedules productive. The role emphasizes educating patients on options, overcoming objections, and delivering a Perfect Patient Experience and Patients for Life.

The HC will become proficient with the PDS system, support clinicians on every exam, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Knowledge of dental insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting financial options to start treatment.
• Explain treatment choices and overcome objections.
• Coordinate with clinicians during exams and handoffs.
• Obtain insurance pre-authorizations when needed.
• Support PPE and PFL to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
