Job summary

Clear Lakes Dental in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Dental Operations Manager (and possibly a Dental Assistant) to lead the new clinic's day-to-day operations and patient experience. This role oversees clinical and clerical teams, manages budgets, and ensures staff are trained. The incumbent must maintain an active Ohio Dental Assistant License and be ready to assist with DA duties to keep clinic flow efficient.

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio X-Ray Certification and Coronal Polishing Certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; secondary education preferred.
• Certification or Degree from an accredited Dental Assistant program required.
• CPR certification is required.
• 2-4 years of dental office leadership or coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and map dental office operations to ensure excellent patient service.
• Hire and supervise office staff and lead clinical/clerical teams.
• Oversee budgets, expenses, and payroll processing.
• Ensure new hires are trained by leads according to position.
• Assist with Dental Assistant duties to support clinic flow.
• Review patient insurance and determine coverage and deductibles.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and licensing rules.
